Since 2003, Clyde Evans has served the people of Gallia,
Jackson, Lawrence (part), Ross (part) and Vinton counties as State Representative
for the 87th House District. Born and raised in Gallia County, Rep. Evans
lives in Rio Grande County with his wife of 48 years, Rosemary.

Work Experience:
Rep. Evans has served as a teacher, counselor and principal in the public
schools and at the University of Rio Grande where he filled four vice
president positions and the provost position. He also taught education
and psychology at the University of Rio Grande. Between tenures at the
University of Rio Grande, he directed a project for the United States
Sports Academy in Saudi Arabia.
